Artist member since 2021

Inspired by my years as a Graffiti artist and my background in Landscape Architecture I am drawn to creating works of abstraction based around my feelings and observations seen through the built and natural environment. I am especially drawn to the expressive lyricism of Graffiti hand styles and the way their vibrant explosive swathes of color are draped ostentatiously across walls. From the urban to the rural I am compelled to create works visually representative of landscapes and the bright plumage of flowers and trees seen within. My Paintings express visual qualities of shape, color, line, composition and texture depicted in a spontaneous yet controlled fashion, using a range of media from acrylic to pastel and oil paint I use my chosen medium to explore the spaces in between and open up dialogue between myself and the viewer raising interpretations that evoke both my own and individuals perspectives of my art.
